A fun takeoff on my buckles. These rings are amazingly striking for an art object so small in size and price. Be bold!
Each bit of vintage American license plate is hand picked and then cut and sanded to fit. Once in place the worn/painted metal is treated to several buffings of wax.
The rings are either large squares or large circles - you get the one pictured in photo #1. Square is about 1"x 1". Circle is 1" diameter. The rings are a heavy silver plated metal with a beautiful mirror finish.
I wear 2 on one hand but I am crazy for them.
